A demostration of a vehicle, to the allocation and route optimization and tracking prototype software system. This system has been done primarily by "mashing" on resources from the public Internet cloud. Since the theme of this project was all about "mashup technology," other than a web hosting server, the server files, there was no internal resources used. The system, orders may be automatically deployed on trucks and the route of each truck will automatically optimizated tominimize costs in terms of distance and time. Features: 1) Uses XML, RSS, JSON, and other "mashup" techniques 2) View traffic 3) uses the database, and map the solution from the cloud, 4) Automated Postal Code Conversion 5) Automatic allocation of orders to trucks 6) Optimization Algorithms 7) Tracking Simulation
is an AJAX system, lowering load. * Note: This system is primarily for educational research purposes. Through the development of this system, the author gained valuable experienceand exposure of mashup and Web 2.0 for the benefits of implementing such technologies. About the developer: The author has a degree in computer science from NTU, Singapore @ 2009th Has a keen interest in information technology and is currently open to any job opportunity.
